The National Committee to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Genocide of 1932-1933 is pleased to announce that our official website is up and running! 

The website features the latest information about upcoming news and events, detailed information about the Holodmor including archives, resources, and eyewitness accounts, as well as information about the National Committee’s plans.  The website will be constantly updated to reflect new information and resources.

Additionally, and most importantly, you will be able to donate to the National Committee’s projects and activities through the new website.

President Yushchenko and President Bush with their wives took part in flower laying ceremony near the Monument to Victims of Holodomor.

After laying flowers the present honored those deceased in 19320-1933 with a moment of silence.

UNIS ACTION ITEM

 

On March 31-April 1, President George W. Bush will make his first official visit to Ukraine.  Considering that this year the worldwide Ukrainian community will mark the 75th anniversary of the Ukrainian Genocide (Holodomor) of 1932-1933, which claimed the lives of 7-10 million innocent Ukrainians, the Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS) urges the entire Ukrainian American community to contact President Bush to request he lay a wreath at the Holodomor Memorial in Kyiv.
