The website features the latest information about upcoming news and events, detailed information about the Holodmor including archives, resources, and eyewitness accounts, as well as information about the National Committee’s plans. The website will be constantly updated to reflect new information and resources.  Presidents Bush and Yuschenko lay flowers at the Holodomor Monument in Kyiv President Yushchenko and President Bush with their wives took part in flower laying ceremony near the Monument to Victims of Holodomor.

Appeal to President Bush to Visit Holodomor Monument in Kyiv
UNIS ACTION ITEM On March 31-April 1, President George W. Bush will make his first official visit to Ukraine. Considering that this year the worldwide Ukrainian community will mark the 75th anniversary of the Ukrainian Genocide (Holodomor) of 1932-1933, which claimed the lives of 7-10 million innocent Ukrainians, the Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS) urges the entire Ukrainian American community to contact President Bush to request he lay a wreath at the Holodomor Memorial in Kyiv. click read more for additional information and sample letter |
