National Office

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America’s National Office is located in the East Village, the heart of the Ukrainian-American community in New York City and home to thousands of Ukrainian Americans. Serving as the central managing body of the entire organization, the National Office coordinates the work of the nearly 70 UCCA branches nationwide, as well as, its special councils and standing committees.  Additionally, it serves as the primary initiator and overseer of many national and international projects.

The UCCA is responsible for keeping its many branches abreast of current events and news from Ukraine and within the Ukrainian-American community. It does this by publishing a bulletin which is distributed to its membership on a monthly basis. The UCCA National Office also publishes white papers and press releases on topics of interest to the Ukrainian community. The National Office is also the primary base for the publication of The Ukrainian Quarterly, the only English language scholarly journal about Ukraine.

The National Office enjoys a close working relationship with Ukraine’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Ukraine’s Embassy to the United States, and Ukraine’s Consulates in New York and Chicago.

The work of the UCCA National Office is funded primarily through the generosity of its members and the Ukrainian National Fund, which is comprised of membership dues and donations.
