Join UCCA for a Virtual Forum to commemorate a tragedy shared by both the Jewish and Ukrainian people
80 years ago, during the Nazi occupation of Kyiv, the gruesome slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children began at Babyn Yar (which means “old women’s ravine” in Ukrainian).
UCCA invites you to attend a virtual conversation between representatives of the Ukrainian and Jewish American diasporas following the historic commemorations in Kyiv earlier this month.
Joining the conversation will be H.E. Sergiy Kyslytsya, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, UCCA President Andriy Futey, AJC Chief Executive Officer David Harris, Ukrainian Jewish Encounter founder Adrian Karatnycky and Sam Kliger, Director, Eurasian Affairs, American Jewish Committee (AJC).
