Why We’re Launching This Campaign

In 2022, Americans stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine. We watched in awe as a smaller, defiant democracy pushed back against a genocidal empire. We waved flags, flooded the streets, raised our voices—and rightly saw Ukraine’s resistance as a stand for freedom everywhere.

Now, in 2025, that energy is fading.

As Ukraine endures its third year under siege, the U.S. is at a tipping point. The Trump administration and allies in Congress have threatened to cut off all remaining military and intelligence aid to Ukraine.

We are facing the very real possibility that the world’s most powerful democracy will turn its back on one of its most critical allies.

We cannot let that happen.

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) is the nation’s largest representation of Americans of Ukrainian descent. For 85 years, UCCA has tirelessly worked to strengthen U.S.–Ukraine relations, promote democracy, and mobilize civic action to support Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Our campaign builds on UCCA’s mission - to ensure that Ukraine remains a priority in the minds of the American people and at the center of U.S. foreign policy. We are sure that the American public will stand together with us at this critical moment.
